BUSY BOBBINS SUMMER SEWING CAMP. 1
10:30-2:30p
There will be a 30 minute lunch break so bring a lunch.
This four day camp session is for children or preteens who have attended the Busy Bobbins classes or have attended previous kids sewing classes at the Sewing Source. Projects include sewing shorts and a coordinating top. Sewing a zipper into a skirt and making a quilted cell phone holder. July 27 through 30th. $175.00 plus supplies.
BEGINNER QUILTING - Students will make a quilt in class from start to finish. You will learn to pick out fabric, learn to use a rotary ruler and rotary cutter, sew a 1/4" seam, piece your quilt, then we will learn how to put borders on correctly, then learn to quilt your quilt and lastly put on your binding Sewing machines are provided for you to use.. 7/13, 7/20, 8/3 8/10, and 8/24. $150.00. 10:30-12:30 Sally/Debbie
BEGINNER SEWING - Learn how to read a pattern and make a pair of pajama pants. Sd hz d plenty of pretty fabric and flannel fabric to choose from. Pattern and Sewing machines are provided for you to use. 10:30-12:30. 7/17 AND 7/31. $50. Debbie
KIDS CAMP - Machine comes with the class for them to keep. This is a class for kids to learn how to use a sewing machine and make several small projects. All fabric and notions will be provided and they take home the machine they learn to sew on. July 20, 21,23, AND 24 10:30-12:30 or sign up for August 4, 5, 6, & 7 1-3PM If you sign up for both session (July and August) the second class price is 1/2 price and you bring your machine you got in the first class. $210. STRIPOLOGY QUILT - Make this beautiful Ursula quilt with Lynn Ray using the stripology ruler. If you own the stripology mat come in and learn to make another quilt. If now we have the mats available for you. Cutting of the fabric should be done before class. If you have not used the ruler let us know and we'll sign you up to come early to learn it. 7/22 11-3.
